Our Boat
We fish a 36 ft Contender with Triple 2018 Suzuki 300 4 strokes, which is fast, comfortable and safe. We are one of the biggest and fastest charter boats in Matagorda. More speed, more time to fish ! Contender Boats are a quality vessel with excellent rough water capabilities
We are a fully licensed charter company with all required National Marine Fisheries Service Permits for reef and pelagic fish. We are also fully compliant with a vessel monitoring system (VMS) which is also a federal requirement. We also have a valid Highly Migratory Species (HMS) permit holder .
Capt Mark is a fully licensed USCG captain and holds a Texas Guides License.
